House of Lief is a trans cartoonist and illustrator based in Columbus, OH. He writes autobiographical and fantasy comics. Many of his works are comedies but he also deals with heavier themes of religious and childhood trauma through his poetry comics such as I Am Not The God Who Brought You Out of Egypt.

Lief's main project is his webcomic, Lief's Diary. This comic a lighthearted slice of life documenting his misadventures, battling foes such as flat tires on his bike, blue screens of death, and aggressive drivers.

Lief's most recent comic, Testosterone Tuesday, digs deeper into his experiences as a trans man, covering his decision to start taking testosterone and the year that followed. Testosterone Tuesday is first and foremost an expression of trans joy and a celebration of becoming.
